A Strategic Partner is an organization in good standing with whom NOBC has a formal alliance to advance the interests of the NOBC and the partner; specifically, to improve the health of communities by actively engaging to increase the number of nurses serving on boards. The partner commits to work that will advance the mission of Nurses on Boards Coalition.

Benefits to the Strategic Partner
• Advancement of a shared interest in improving the health of communities by increasing nurse appointments on boards.
• Public acknowledgment of the partnership on the NOBC website, including placement of the organization’s
logo on the website and on relevant materials, with the organization’s approval.
• Visibility within the nursing and related markets.
• Notification of board opportunities as identified and shared by NOBC.
• Invitations to attend or otherwise participate in special events sponsored by NOBC.
• Opportunities for co-sponsorship of events: “first go-to” or right of first refusal.
• Obtain summary information from NOBC database, within policy, regarding registration of nurses from partner organization.
• Information about strategic partner disseminated to NOBC members, state contacts and those registered in the NOBC database.

A Sponsor is an organization in good standing that provides financial support to NOBC without a commitment to work on getting nurses appointed to boards.

- Specifically for organizations that work with us: public acknowledgment of the partnership on the NOBC website, including placement of the organization’s logo on the website and on relevant materials (with the Sponsor organization’s approval).
- Visibility within the nursing and related markets.

The coalition accepts membership applications for consideration from national organizations whose mission is aligned with NOBC’s mission.
